Oh bugger it!

What a shame.

There should be a rule in football that you can't award a penalty in the box if you're playing advantage for a challenge outside the box. You could see that the referee was playing advantage from Bresciano's challenge.

In a parallel universe, he would have awarded the penalty against Bresciano outside the box. The Italians would have pushed up in the last minute of regulation, put in a cross, which Cahill would have headed downfield for Aloisi to take from halfway, past the keeper and goal!!!!!!

Meanwhile, Viduka would have been having a lie-down in the corner.

Kennedy forever I say!

In other news, Mosman High School is very different to Mosman private schools:

Also, the SMH recently showed a church sign from a church at Leichhardt reading:

Jesus saves better than Kalac"

That's gold.

I had my World Cup theme housewarming last weekend, but no cameras were present to record the festivities. Suffice to say, Emja dressed up like this:

and the house the next day looked like this:

Heading on up to the Arms for a road trip this weekend! Lil' bro out.

Katie Thomas is a star, S-T-A-R...

Yay Sis!

Looks like you had an awesome time in the valleys of France. I loved the pics you sent through. You should definitely put them up on your blog for general perusal.

Makes my current existence look very veryboring by comparison. Heading out tonight to celebrate Em's end of semester (I still have one assignment to go), then heading out dancing with my lay-dee on Saturday just the two of us. Can't wait.

My last assignment for uni is pretty weird:

Question: 'Assess the Progress of the Developing World'
Word Limit: 3,500 words.

Hmmm, given that each of those words would represent roughly 1,500,000 people in the developing world, twill be hard to fit everything in.

I am thinking of just writing: 'Quite slow' or 'Worrying' or 'Nuts to that' or maybe 'Why should I? George Clooney is already doing such a great job'.

All Dr Phil would say, these are all good options. Y'all got to take control of your own lives!

YEE-HA!!!!!!

You know what I'm talking about.

In other news, saw Middle Sis off to meet up with Lil' Sis in the USofA. Had a cook off with Emja, to see who was best. She won. But we got to use KT's awesome housearming gifts direct from Prague via a champ named Alex. Are there elephants in Camden?

It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times...

Okay, so it's not quite as far out and obscure as most peeps' post titles but it is relevant because:
a) I have been reading 'A Tale of Two Cities';
2) It has been pissing down for the last week, but I am still having a great time and awaiting Ronaldinho et al.; and
iii) KT is off to the Loire, Emja has her head down bum up in the books, but I am free to par-tay.

The most mentionable upcoming par-tay is my very own housewarming. In Naremburn - Feel the 'Burn!

In keeping with the spirit of the imminent World Cup, it is a soccer theme, and the best dressed playa will get this:

My flattie is planning on inviting her whole work, so any of you randoms are welcome to rock up to boost the Keiran crew. We are gonna have a dance off or something.

Anyways, I hereby record my tip for the World Cup - Czech Republic. Mark. My. Words.

PS: Emja's superstar bro is now starring in this on a TV near you (unless you live in non-metropolitan centres, London, NY or Sweden, obviously.
